Take the ALA survey (if you make websites)

I took the survey, as I did last year, but it was a frustrating process and is far from perfect.

The survey is supposed to be global, but is littered with American terminology that is never explained. 401K? What’s that then? My salary in $? Hang on while I go convert that myself. etc etc.

Last year, 48% of respondents were US based. On the internet it’s always going to have an American slant, but the survey is worded such that it could put off those from other countries.

Adding to the problem, as far as I can see the survey is only available in English. There’s only a few words and answers in there so having it translated would have been easy, and would give a more accurate representation of the global web developer community.
