A List Apart asked their readers for tips about working from home and now they’ve published a few.
Working from home in ’sunny’ Cornwall has been going pretty well for me so far. We all make the effort to stay in touch through the day, mainly via a group IM chat we have running on Skype.
I actually don’t have too much trouble separating home life from work and I don’t have to shut myself away (from the dog and cat). And I have always been fully clothed. I have been suffering a little with the incessant noise of builders putting a whole new roof on my Victorian house, but it’s been nice chatting to them over a builder’s mid-morning brew.
