In fact, you can ignore the fact that this is about Django. It’s a great discussion on web development frameworks and scaling (including lots of useful 101 level stuff on database clustering/replication). Plus some commentary on ‘significant whitespace’ – something I do hate.

It’s also just plain entertaining. It’s long, but it’s worth it.
