White October

great web stuff

0845 838 1703

An established Oxfordshire letting agency gets a dynamic website that truly represents the business, complete with interactive map and ecommerce.

Instant control

Contented CMS

In the past Simon was able to update only properties on his site. Now every page is in his control - using the Contented CMS he is able to update every page on the site, and add new ones.

This has been particularly useful during the launch of the site when he was able to give Momentum Web Solutions, a company specialising in website optimisation, access to update the text and the keywords on every page.

The Interactive Map

Cost effective maps

Interactive map

Probably the most impressive feature of the new site, is an interactive map. Properties are easily added via Contented and using their postcode plotted on an interactive Yahoo map.

Although the map is highly functional and provides a great tool for users of the site, it was relatively inexpensive to accomplish, costing only a couple of pence per property.

Ecommerce

Deposits and agency fees

Another simple but incredibly valuable addition to the site is the ability for new tenants to pay their agency fees and deposits via the website. The site automatically calculates the appropriate fees and allows tenants to pay by credit card.

This means that prospective tenants can immediately secure the property for themselves and removes any doubt over their intentions, significantly smoothing the rental process.
