About the software
This slick site was designed with its users in mind : hard pressed location managers. These guys need to browse location images quickly seeing as much detail on the location as possible. The main image is given pride of place, with thumbnails that are large enough to make out detail.
Uploading large collections of photos is easy too using a Java applet (much like the one Facebook uses) which lets users select images from thumbnails on their local computer which are then bulk uploaded.
