The Project

Not unusually, the Oxford Knowledge Company sourced the graphical design of the website from their own designers. We were happy to take the designs on and implement them creating a light-weight, quick to load site.
The Content Management System (CMS)
With a potentially vast amount of content on the new site, a CMS was going to be essential, and White October's Contented was perfect for the the job.
The site has been built quickly and effectively within the Contented CMS by the company itself, and they will need little, if any support going forward.

Audience specific content
The new Oxford Knowledge site is organised into 3 sections, aimed at the company's 3 sectors: Start-ups, SME and Corporate. The stucture of each sector's "mini-site" is managed easily using the multiple Site Maps feature in Contented, meaning a visitor's experience can be tailored to their interest.
Site Search
The website includes a Contented website search of all content by relevance of keyword. Often expected by visitors to sites of a certain size, it is essential for the Oxford Knowledge site which has over 140 pages.Search Engine Friendly
Although the site is built using a CMS, the titles and structure of the pages are inherently search engine friendly, even down to the URLs which include keywords.
