We are hiring a Junior Admin Assistant

We are looking to hire a full-time Junior Admin Assistant for our exciting and entrepreneurial digital product studio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is early in their career or is returning to work after a gap. You will be providing a crucial first impression of our company to any visitors, both in the way that you interact with them and the office environment that they experience. You will also be at the heart of our team, ensuring the smooth running of events and a supportive work environment.

The role

The Junior Admin Assistant is accountable for managing reception, general team, HR and office administration.


  • Managing the WO reception, welcoming guests and customers, ensuring they sign in and are offered refreshments on arrival
  • Answering all inbound calls and routing them to the correct parties
  • Responding to inbound email enquiries

General team administration

  • Providing scheduling and logistics support for company meetings and events
  • Booking travel for all WO team members travelling on WO business

HR administration

  • Assisting with all our HR administration activity. This includes: coordinating the production and approval of contracts and the staff handbook, monitoring holiday and sick leave and flagging issues to line managers for action.

Office administration

  • Ensuring the office is kept tidy
  • Making sure the kitchen is clean, well stocked, and presentable to clients
  • Proactively maintaining office supplies and office equipment

Internal communications

  • Managing our monthly “First Thursday” internal town hall meeting: checking the agenda with the MD, chasing contributors, room set up and food.
  • Managing logistics for internal company events such as the winter office party
  • Running events and activities to promote office cohesion, sense of belonging and have some fun! Including off sites, parties, workshops, charitable activities.

Day to day you might be:

  • Welcoming a senior level client to our office and helping them feel excited to be working with us
  • Speaking to a potential new customer and helping them find the right person in the team to talk to
  • Organising materials and locations for a client workshop
  • Juggling busy diaries to find time for a senior team meeting
  • Checking the kitchen is spotless and well stocked with tea!

Who you are

  • Some previous experience of working in an office environment would be ideal
  • Proactive, organised and approachable
  • Love people and are interested in how to make their day better
  • Comfortable with using technology to make your and your colleagues life simpler
  • Good communicator, happy to give and receive feedback
  • Good written skills
  • Actively contribute to our culture of being collaborative, open, flexible and social
  • You have an ambition to learn and develop, and an interest in the kind of work we do
  • Love a process but thrive in a fast-paced environment and are capable of working on multiples activities at the same time
